About

An Unexpected Journey

Welcome

A few years ago, I never imagined I’d be introducing myself as a songwriter.

For 31 years, I built a career in information technology. I loved solving problems, building systems, and helping people. Then medical issues forced that chapter of my life to come to an unexpected end.

Losing my career was difficult.

Losing my sense of who I was, was even harder.

For several months, I would wake up not remembering my own name.

Then one day…

I did.

It may sound like a small thing.

It wasn’t.

It was the first time I truly believed healing was possible.

As my mind slowly recovered, I found myself writing poetry. I wasn’t trying to become a poet—I was simply trying to give words to a season of my life that had none.

I shared one of those poems with a friend.

He suggested I turn one of my poems into a song. That single suggestion changed everything.

I began exploring AI-assisted music and discovered something I never expected.

Not just that I could make music…

…but that music could help make me whole again.

One song became another.

Then another.

Then another.

Today, that unexpected journey has grown into more than 235 songs and four albums. Along the way, I’ve also had the joy of helping friends bring their own music into the world.

That journey became Galactic Memes.

What started as one person’s search for hope has grown into a creative home where music, stories, books, and imagination come together to encourage, entertain, and connect people.

Through Galactic Memes Studio, I create and produce music.

Through Galactic Memes Publishing, I continue sharing stories through books and writing.

But titles and catalogs aren’t really why I’m here.

I’m here because I know what it feels like when life suddenly changes without your permission.

I know what it feels like to wonder what comes next.

That’s why I believe music matters.

I believe a single song can encourage someone, make them smile, help them remember, or simply remind them they’re not alone.

If one of my songs has ever done that for you, then it has already fulfilled its purpose.

Thank you for listening.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

And if you choose to support my work, you’re doing far more than helping me create another song.

You’re helping me continue to share the hope someone once shared with me.

Galactic Memes — changing the galaxy one song at a time.
